Best Aquaculture Practices Release Feed Mill Standard 3.0
The Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) announced Issue 3.0 of its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Feed Mill Standards on June 15.
According to BAP, the standard has been strengthened to reflect the growing reliance of aquaculture on responsibly produced feed. As expectations rise for sourcing of marine and terrestrial ingredients of aquafeed, the new standard introduces stricter sourcing requirements.
