Injured Crewman Medevaced From Kodiak Seiner Yesterday

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced an injured fisherman from the commercial fishing vessel Rubicon, north of the city of Kodiak on Monday.
The man was transported from the vessel, which appears to have been seining in the area, by small boat to shore where an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew was waiting. The patient was loaded and transported to awaiting emergency medical services in Kodiak.
The incident began at 12:45p.m., when the Coast Guard command center in Anchorage received a call from the wife of the fishing vessel’s master requesting a medevac for an injured crew member...
