Thai Union Joins Ocean Disclosure Project to Share Information on Seafood Sourcing
As seafood giant Thai Union looks to strengthen its transparency, the company has decided to take part in the Ocean Disclosure Project, a platform where seafood businesses share details with the public about their seafood sourcing practices.
Thai Union will publish its global supply chain data from the U.S., Europe and Asia. Data will include details for wild-caught and farmed seafood along with information such as area of catch, area of production, fishing gear used, sustainability certifications and ratings.
