Maryland Governor Announces $3.4 Million in Additional Relief for Fishing Industry
Larry Hogan, the Governor of Maryland, alongside the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said an additional $3.4 million will be available for the state’s fishing industry.
The funds are available for the commercial seafood industry via the federal Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021.
Funding will support activities previously authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, for those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, per the Governor’s office.
