NOAA Finalizes Atlantic Deep-Sea Red Crab Quota
NOAA Fisheries announced on Monday that they have finalized the Atlantic deep-sea red crab quota for the 2022 fishing year, which runs from March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023.
According to the final rule, the quota for the 2022 fishery is set at 2,000 metric tons/ 4.41 million lbs., which is the same quota that was approved for the 2020 and 2021 fishing years.
