Cod Fisherman Catches First Photos of North Pacific Right Whales Winter Feeding in Bering Sea
A Bering Sea cod fisherman caught images of at least two North Pacific right whales feeding near Unimak Pass — the first evidence of winter feeding in the Bering Sea of this species. They were feeding with humpback and fin whales, according to photos from fishermen in the area.
