Copper River Seafoods Not Buying on Kenai This Year, “New Player” Rogue Wave Coming
Last week Copper River Seafoods CEO Scott Blake sent a letter to fishermen and others on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula that the 26-year-old company would not be buying fish at their Kenai plant this year.
“Due to changes in the Cook Inlet salmon management plan, rising production costs, and the poor forecast, Copper River Seafoods will not be operating during the salmon season on the Kenai Peninsula this year,” Blake wrote.
