“Little Labels, Big Impact” Campaign Launched by Three Familiar Eco-Labels
Fairtrade America, Marine Stewardship Council, and the Non-GMO Project have joined forces to draw attention to third-party certification labels on food products. The campaign, dubbed “Little Labels, Big Impact” is supported by a survey done early last year that showed nearly 70% of American seafood consumers demand that retailers’ and brands’ claims about sustainability and the environment be clearly labeled and third-party verified.
