OBI, Silver Bay Take Home USDA Salmon Contract
A pair of companies were involved in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) $8 million purchase of pink salmon.
OBI Seafoods sold $6,376,423 of salmon products while Silver Bay Seafoods saw the USDA purchase $1,659,612 worth of products.
OBI sold over 157,000 pounds of salmon while Silver Bay sold nearly 26,000 cases of product.
