Alaska Opens Season for Bristol Bay Red King and Tanner Crab, No Snow Crab for 3rd Year in a Row
Last Friday the Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced a season opener of October 15 for two of the three iconic crab species in the Bering Sea: tanner (also called bairdi) and Bristol Bay red king crab.
