Norway Snow Crab Quota Increases in 2024, King Crab Quota Decreases
This week Norway’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries announced the 2024 quota for snow crab and they are once again increasing the catch.
In 2023 the total quota on the Norwegian continental shelf was set at 7,790 tonnes, an increase of 1,065 tonnes from 2022. For 2024, the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries is upping the quota to 10,300 tonnes on the Norwegian continental shelf, an increase of 2,510 tonnes from 2023.
