Russia Wants to Reduce Exports of Salmon, Sardines This Year in Favor of Supplies to Domestic Market
Russia may reduce exports of salmon and sardines this year, with the aim to increase their supplies to the domestic market. This is mainly due to the provision of state subsidies for the exports from the Far East to the European part of the country.
So far Chile and Turkey, which primarily supply aquaculture fish, are among the major suppliers of salmon to Russia.
