Canadian Shoppers Making Fewer Trips to Grocery Store, But Spending More
Nielsen conducted a study looking at the buying power of Canadian consumers and found that in 2018 shoppers made fewer trips to the grocery store on average. But while shoppers may be traveling to the food store less often, that doesn’t mean that they’re not opening their wallet. According to the study, Canadian consumers are spending more overall when they hit the grocery store.
