Coast Guard Boat Crew Rescues Man on Fishing Boat in North Carolina

A man suffering severe abdominal issues was medevaced by the U.S. Coast Guard from his fishing vessel in Pamlico Sound, North Carolina on Wednesday morning.
A crewmember on the vessel Capt. Phillips via, VHF FM radio channel 16, sent a notification stating that a 57-year-old crewmember had abdominal pain and needed immediate medical attention. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Hatteras Inlet received the notification and sprung into action.
