US Court in California Rules Against NMFS Regarding Two Pelagic Longline Permit Approvals
Proponents of pelagic longlines to catch swordfish off the West Coast were dealt another blow Friday. A federal district court ruled NMFS failed to analyze threats to endangered sea turtles when it approved two exempted fishing permits this year.
