ANALYSIS: EU and UK Seafood Import Value 12.5% Above Pre-COVID Levels

Overall imports of seafood in the EU and the UK have been slightly declining since pre-COVID, with a 2.7% drop in volume between 2019 and 2024, according to census data. However, in value, the EU and the UK imported 27.29 billion USD worth of seafood, which stands 12.5% above 2019 level.
