Cermaq-owned Salmon Smolt Facility Victim of Arson Attack in Chile
A Chilean salmon hatchery owned by Cermaq was the target of an arson attack on January 28, per local newspapers La Tercera.
The fire broke out at the Piscicultura Collín facility, located in Vilcún commune in the La Araucanía Region of the country. The facility is operated by Yadrán, a Cermaq subsidiary.
