West Coast Sees Third Directed Halibut Fishery Opener Later in July
Poor weather over much of the West Coast and sub-par landings for the first two halibut openers this year means fishermen will get another chance next week to clean up the Area 2A non-Tribal directed commercial quota.
Of the 118 metric tons available for the directed fishery, 39 mt remain.
