U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Workplan Includes $34.65 Million to Repair Coos Bay North Jetty
After several years and a loss of 900 feet, the north jetty at the entrance to Coos Bay, Ore., is getting some much-needed help to make bar crossings safer.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released its 2021 work plan recently, which includes an additional $34.65 million to support repairs to the north jetty. The jetty was constructed in 1929.
