Nomad Foods Acquires Fortenova’s Frozen Food Business Group
Nomad Foods, the parent company of popular frozen food brands Birds Eye, Findus and igloo have acquired Fortenova Group’s Frozen Food Business Group (FFBG) for €615 million ($724 million).
Nomad entered into negotiations with Fortenova to buy FFBG back in January, after acquiring Findus Switzerland at the start of 2021.
The move “reinforces Nomad’s European frozen food leadership with multiple levers for value creation & synergies,” Nomad said in a press release.
