CFIA: Pair of Companies Recall Black Tiger Shrimp Due to Undeclared Sulphites
Two companies have recalled Black Tiger shrimp products from the marketplace due to undeclared sulphites, per notices from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The first recall was initiated by Midland Food Products on June 1. Midland recalled its Triple Crown brand Black Tiger Shrimp which was distributed in Ontario, Canada through hotel, restaurant, institutional and retail channels.
The product description was “Frozen black tiger shrimp raw E-Z peel headless shell-on, 26/30.
