Gulf of Mexico Shrimp Landings and Prices Show Ongoing Roller Coaster Ride
The good news in the Gulf of Mexico is that shrimp price are up. The bad news: landings are down.
According to the Southern Shrimp Alliance, reporting data from the Southeast Fisheries Science Center's Gulf of Mexico updated shrimp landings information, Texas landings are the lowest they've been in the first half of a year in the last 20 years.
