Canada Once Again Expands British Columbia Oyster Recall
Another recall has been posted to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) website as Sawmill Bay Shellfish Co. Ltd. recalled certain Pacific Oysters from the marketplace due to possible norovirus contamination.
The latest recall involves Joes Gold, Joyce Point, Read Island Gem and Sawmill Bay DD brand oysters with harvest dates of March 24 and March 28. The impacted products were sold in British Columbia and Alberta and may have been distributed in other provinces and territories.
