SFP: 12 Key Philippine Companies Commit to Sustainable Sourcing
The Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) shared that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Philippines Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) announced that 12 Philippine companies and brands have committed to responsible seafood sourcing.
The commitment comes via USAID and BFAR’s Fish Right Program which will see the companies and brands adopt and utilize the principles of the Better Seafood Philippines program, which include sustainability, legal compliance, traceability, transparency and social responsibility.
