Canadian Government Extends Support of Nunavut’s Fishing Industry
The Canadian Government announced last week that they will continue to support Nunavut’s fishing industry. The Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor) will be investing over $2.4 million towards three projects which support research, training and marketing. These projects will continue the progress that’s being made in Nunavut to develop a sustainable, adaptive and inclusive fishing industry.
