Steakholder Foods Lands U.S. Patent to Help Improve Texture of Cell-Cultivated Products
Steakholder Foods, a company looking to create cell-cultivated meat products was granted a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for “systems and methods to apply external forces to muscle tissue that result in the development of high-quality complex structured meat.”
The company believes the patent will provide a “major boost to Steakholder Foods' patent portfolio, following similar grants earlier this year in Australia and New Zealand.”
