FFAW Urging DFO to Adjust Gulf of St. Lawrence Redfish Management
The 4R inshore fleet has pushed Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) to implement immediate change to the management of the Gulf of St. Lawrence Unit 1 Redfish fishery.
The call comes after dozens of harvesters rallied outside a Barry Group plant and pushed for a change to the “small, time-sensitive fishery.”
