Russian fishermen are facing new problems when delivering fish to EU ports due to the recent decision of the Netherland authorities to ban Russian fish trawlers from entering the country’s seaports.
Currently the Netherlands, which is a major transport hub for the supplies of Russian fish to the EU, refuses to allow Russian ships to enter its seaports, despite all the necessary documents. One of such incidents occurred on May 16 in the Dutch port of Eemshaven.
