Tsukiji Kanisho Snaps Up All 50 Tons Of Snow Crab At The Second Russian Opilio Auction In Busan
The second Russian frozen Opilio snow crab auction in fiscal 2024 was held in Busan, South Korea, on June 14. According to several trading companies, 50 tons of air-blast frozen cooked sections (single price for L-4L sizes) were up for bid. Tsukiji Kanisho of Tokyo won the entire quantity for $22.50/kg, 60-70% higher than the price at the end of the same month last year, Minato Shimbun reported.
