Massachusetts Environmental Police Seize Over 3,000 lbs of Haddock From New Bedford Processor
Massachusetts Environmental Police (MEP) confirmed on Monday that they seized over 3,000 pounds of haddock from a processor in New Bedford. According to MEP officers, the haddock were below the legal size limit of 16 inches.
“The vessel captain will have his day in court and the illegal fish was donated to various food pantries to help those in need,” MEP shared on its Facebook page.
