Wismettac Asian Foods Recalls Korean Seaweed Products Due to Undeclared Allergen

California-based Wismettac Asian Foods recalled packages of its Shirakiku brand Korean Seasoned Seaweed. The company said it contained the undeclared allergen of sesame on outer packages.

The impacted products were distributed in California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Washington, New York and Nevada. The last distribution of the product in the marketplace was on October 8, 2024.

The product is packaged in a 3.52 oz, illustrated plastic bag, containing 5 inner packages. Each inner packages has the correct allergen information. The correct UPC for the product is 074410516031...
