Peru Opens First 2026 Anchovy Season with 1.91 Million Metric Ton Quota

Peru's Production Ministry has authorized the start of the first 2026 anchovy fishing season in the North-Central zone with a total allowable catch of 1.91 million metric tons (MT), down 36% from the 3.0 million MT authorized for the first 2025 season.
