FFAW Welcomes Canada’s Renewed Investment in Small Craft Harbours
The Fish, Food and Allied Workers Union ( FFAW ) is praising the Canadian government’s renewed investment in small craft harbor following the release of the 2026 Spring Economic Update.
The union said the added funding is a welcome step toward repairing, maintaining and modernizing critical harbor infrastructure across the country, as many facilities face mounting pressure from climate change, aging assets and growing demand.
