Chile Sets up Ñuble Benthic Fishing Table to Support Artisanal Sector
Chile’s fisheries authority has launched a new working group in Ñuble to support artisanal benthic fishing and strengthen coordination between coastal fishing organizations and government agencies.
The Undersecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture, or Subpesca, formed the Ñuble Benthic Resources Table in Cobquecura. The group will bring together regional and local authorities with representatives of coastal unions to promote sustainable development, competitiveness and better management of benthic fishing activities.
