DFO, Canadian Coast Guard Begin 3-Day Operation to Remove Ghost Gear from Gulf of St. Lawrence
On Thursday Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard kicked off their three-day operation to remove ghost gear from the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The operation is part of the Canadian government's efforts to protect the endangered North Atlantic right whale.
