Georgia's Commercial Shrimping Season to Close January 15
Georgia's Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced earlier this week that the commercial and recreational shrimp season in state waters will close on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 6 p.m.
The DNR's Coastal Resources Division made the decision after consulting with the Shrimp Advisory Panel, which is comprised of commercial and recreational shrimpers.
