Gulf of Mexico Shrimpers Harvest Another 2 Million Pounds in April
Despite the pandemic, shrimpers in the Gulf of Mexico increased their shrimp landings in April.
The National Marine Fisheries Service Fishery Monitoring Branch of the Southeast Fisheries Science Center released data last week that showed 2.2 million pounds of landings -- the third year in a row they were down for the month of April.
