High Hopes for Canadian Snow Crab Season After DFO Preliminary Report
Finally some good news on the crab front. A preliminary report from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada is showing a growth of 4% in the commercial biomass of males 95 mm and over compared to last year, bringing the value close to 81,000 metric tons. DFO biologist Amélie Rondeau said in a statement that the stock is healthy.
