Number of Consumers Sickened from Contaminated BC Oysters Reaches 321

Authorities with the Public Health Agency of Canada confirmed an additional 40 more cases of illnesses directly linked to the consumption of eating contaminated oysters from British Columbia.
A total of 321 people have now been sickened from eating farmed oysters from British Columbia. Illnesses linked to oysters have been reported in three provinces: British Columbia (223), Alberta (42), and Ontario (56). No deaths have been reported.
