MSC Wants Input From Stakeholders on How Program Can Evolve

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is seeking input from stakeholders on “proposed improvements and developments to its chain of custody standard and fishery certification requirements.” The council is granting stakeholders the opportunity to comment on the Unit of Assessment used to define certified fisheries and provide feedback on the options for allowing fishing vessels to catch certified and uncertified products during a single fishing trip — something that was a concern to stakeholders.
