Cooke Aquaculture Sends Boats to Aid With Flood Relief Efforts in New Brunswick
Cooke Aquaculture is sending some of their boats and marine staff to aid flooded communities in New Brunswick.
Earlier this week the New Brunswick government closed the Trans-Canada Highway between Oromocto and River Glade due to flooding from the St. John River. Last year flood levels reached 5.73 metres, and forecasts for this year have flood levels reaching 5.6 metres by Friday. As of Wednesday, the flooding had forced a reported 490 people from their homes, with many other residents choosing to stay put...
