JAPAN: April Land-Based Surimi Production in Hokkaido Doubles to 717 Tons
The National Surimi Manufacturers Association announced on May 27 that the total amount of land-based surimi produced in Hokkaido in April 2024 was 717 tons, 99% higher than last year. It was broken down into 602 tons of Alaska pollock surimi, 236% higher than last year, and 10 tons of Atka mackerel surimi, 84% less than last year.
