California Politicians Call For Expedited Approval of Salmon Season Disaster Relief
In April it was confirmed that the commercial salmon season in California would be closed for the second year in a row. Now, a few months later, California representatives Jared Huffman and Jimmy Panetta, as well as U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, are requesting that the administration “expedite the review and approval of the 2023 California fisheries disaster request.”
