Researchers with the Northeast Fisheries Science Center are studying warming ocean waters in an effort to understand what climate change could mean for “future stock conditions and the fisheries that depend on them.”
Congress recently provided the Northeast Fisheries Science Center with funding for a fisheries climate action plan that they released in 2016.
