USTR Denies 25% Tariff Exclusion Request for Frozen Tilapia From China
A pair of requests from companies looking to be excluded from 25% tariffs on frozen tilapia imports from China were rejected by the United States Trade Representative on March 5.
Requests from Hawaii-based Hilo Fish Company and J&J Seafoods, based in California, were denied according to letters signed by General Counsel Joseph Barloon. The letters were posted on the USTR’s website.
