USCG Decommissions Cutter Douglas Munro, Last of the High Endurance Cutters
A sobering ceremony Saturday in Kodiak marked the end of an era. The last of the USCG's 12 high endurance cutters, the Douglas Munro, was decommissioned Saturday the Coast Guard base in Kodiak, Alaska. U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Karl Schultz presided over the ceremony.
