Quinn Fisheries, Blue Harvest Take Carlos Rafael’s Trust to Court as Companies Look to Wrap Up Deal

Major New Bedford, Massachusetts-based scallop harvesters have filed a lawsuit against Carlos Rafael’s estate trust and three other individuals as the companies sit on the verge of what they describe as a “multi-million dollar” deal.
Quinn Fisheries and Blue Harvest expected to close a deal on April 16 which would have seen Quinn transfer certain vessels and fishing permits to Blue Harvest and make purchases from Blue Harvest for both vessels and permits.
