Class Action Targeting Retailer ALDI’s Salmon Sustainability Claims Moves Forward
A class-action lawsuit that targets marketing claims made by retailer ALDI for its fresh Atlantic salmon products will move forward following a decision by District Judge Jorge L. Alonso in the U.S. District Court of Illinois on May 17.
Alonso tossed ALDI’s motion to dismiss the class action that alleges the supermarket “falsely and deceptively markets its Atlantic Salmon products as sustainably sourced.”
