Food technology company AQUA Cultured Foods has announced a new partnership with Ginkgo Bioworks.
Chicago-based AQUA has developed the world’s first whole-cut seafood alternatives through microbial fermentation. This process produces sustainable, fish-free tuna, scallops and more using less resources than traditional aquaculture.
