Hong Kong Customs Agents Seize Smuggled Dried Fish Maws, Shark Fins And More In March
Hong Kong Customs agents had a busy month in March, seizing a range of seafood items from dried fish maws to dried shark fins.
About 191 kilograms of suspected scheduled dried sea cucumbers and 369kg of suspected scheduled dried fish gills were seized by customs agents on March 7. The items, which were confiscated from a 40-foot seaborne container arriving from Myanmar, have an estimated market value of $1.1 million.
